3 More Fast Sundays

Only three more Fast Sundays left until Elder Barney comes home! I can't believe it! I would like to say that the time has passed quickly, but for me, it has not. I have missed him so much! His release date is supposed to be December 31st, New Year's Eve! Some people have told me that he may get sent home before Christmas, but I can't let myself get my hopes up. If it happens it will be cool, way cool, but I'm not counting on it. The blessings of having a missionary in the field have been enormous, and I am so grateful that he is such a dedicated, hard-working missionary.

I Will Not Forget

Today my thoughts are on the tragedy of September 11, 2001. We visited the site where the twin towers stood when we were in New York City this summer, and it was a heartwrenching experience. I will never forget those who gave their lives trying to save the people inside, and I will never forget what I was doing that day, and how I felt when we were so brutally and senselessly attatcked. This is a view from the church that miraculously survived the devastation and now serves as a memorial to those who lost their lives that day.

1st day of 7th Grade

This is Devin and friends Quinn and Ty on their first day of 7th grade. What a big day! Devin totally loves Jr. High, he says it makes him feel all growed up! Haha! Hard to believe my baby isn't a baby anymore. :(

In the Clouds

This is my beautiful boy, Jaron. He is 17 now, and starting his senior year of high school. We went down to Tuacahn over Labor Day weekend, and while we were down there, we drove up Snow Canyon to take some senior pictures of Jaron. This is my favorite one!
